Should I use 2 tubes instead of one?** A: I purposely bought the small cat one for my 15 pound cat, I also break up the dosage over several days so there is less poison on my cat at one time: I put only one small squeeze on at a time. This last time wthin 2 days my cat stopped scratching so I didn't finish using the rest of the tube. It's safer to apply smaller amts of these poisons at a time, so I may just put the rest of the tube in a couple weeks. **Q: Expiration dates?** A: There is a production code on the exterior of the box that has the date within the last 6-8 digits. Someone has mentioned here and in other areas that flea and tick topicals do not have an expiration date or that they do not expire. This is untrue. Using old product can make an animal ill, so it is always best to discard old topicals within a year or two of purchase, using the date code on the exterior of the box as a guide. For those saying topicals don't expire, I have two veterinarian bills for two separate animals treated with topicals purchased from the previous year because I believed the no expiration hooey.
