**Q: does this adapter fit 8mm cassette thanks**
A: This device will not fit 8mm or Hi8 tapes  It will only fit the VHS  C format tapes

**Q: Will a Sony video8 cassette fit into this?**
A: Sorry this was years ago I bought this and cannot comment as I forgot all about it

**Q: Does the adapter work with JVC cassettes?**
A: It will work in a JVC VHS player/recorder to play VHS-C cassettes. JVC branded VHS-C cassettes will fit the adaptor.

**Q: Does this take Betamax tapes?**
A: No it doesn't.

It acepts the mini VHS tape and therefore enables you to play a mini VHS in a standard VHS player.

This camcorder tape adapter was not expensive and and it is therefore not surprising that the quality of manufacture is poor. It failed to work properly after half an hour of first use, but was repairable. It is still working, but for how long??????
