Review: Natural, low sugar carbs and calories! - I'm a pretty big 120kg "sort of bodybuilder", and the amount of protein and mass shakes I was drinking was starting to feel poisonous. The sweeteners and the normally helpful additives like creatine and such were really starting to take their toll. So I thought I'd experiment. Nobody drinks these shakes for their flavour, but my current combination of this and a caramel flavoured protein shake is the best I've had so far. Using ~100g of both, the consistency is rather like drinking wet sand, but not prohibitively unpleasant. (By comparison, my previous mass powder would lather like soap, which was far worse.) It mixes much better than I expected, but I do have a very good shaker, and it doesn't stick to the sides too badly, although I do drink and wash it quickly. Overall, I don't wake up with a metallic taste in my mouth, the numbers still add up, and it's cheaper. All good! Edit: Having since tried this without the protein powder, I would not recommend doing that. Without that added thickness, it doesn't mix at all, creating a drink of slightly off water and gritty oats. Still fantastic at bulking out a protein shake however.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Natural, low sugar carbs and calories!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than no porridge at all and a good sized bag for the price
*by A***E on 26 March 2020*

I paid £10.99 for the 5 kilo bag. It was the only way that I could get any form of porridge at the moment. Ideally this is for bulking up protein shakes but in current times I've used it as breakfast porridge. I like the taste. The consistency is like Ready brek but that it actually tastes of real oats. I used the scoop provided and mixed 50g of the powder with 300ml of semi skim milk, but if you're running out of milk I'm sure water or half and half would be okay. I used a hand whisk to try and limit potential lumps. I microwaved at full power for 2 minutes and took it out and gave it a stir, it does go a bit clumpy. I put it back in for another minute. I took it out and gave it a final stir and added 15g of chia seeds and a mini box of raisins and a dash of cinnamon. You can add whatever of course.
