Review: Impressive - glad I decided to try it! - I saw this Thera Cane recommended on a YouTube video regarding massaging trigger points to relieve chronic pain. I was very impressed by the huge majority of positive reviews on desertcart - especially the ones where people say it cured long term pain - it sounded too good to be true - but something I had to try! I have used it on several occasions now - sometimes just to massage tight muscles - upper back, lower back, shoulder and neck - it is quite easy to use once you get used to it; it is very light and easy to manoeuvre to find the 'trigger points'. A couple of weeks ago I woke up with a really painful shoulder and neck - the type which usually takes at least a few days to heal. I decided to give the Theracane a try - it didn't take long to find the trigger point, I could actually feel it easing the muscle. I didn't think much more about it... until later in the afternoon when I found myself unexpectedly painting my shed (!!) - and my neck and shoulder felt fine! This is when I realized how effective the Thera Cane had been! I actually bought it because I have a damaged coccyx and am unable to sit down... As it is a difficult condition to treat and I do not want to cause any more pain in this area, I have only used the Thera Cane lightly around my spine and lower back. The coccydinia pain, so far, remains the same - but that is probably because my coccyx is dislocated. My neck was so bad that i found it difficult to look to the ceiling without feeling pain and tension. Ive always had knots in my shoulders and back and find it difficult to relax. I carry a lot of stress in my back and shoulders. Ive had numerous sports and deep tissue massages which have helped somewhat but are far too expensive to become regular. I was initially hesitant to buy the theracane because it looked gimmicky and rather expensive but after reading the reviews i managed to convince myself that it would be worth a try. ( i figured i could send it back if i found it ineffective 😉) I'm sooo glad i ordered it. So far I've only used the large knob at the end of the curve but that has helped to release the knots in my shoulders and neck. I was shocked to feel the range of motion in my neck after using and for the first time could look up without pain. It does feel very uncomfortable to the point of being painful but you also feel all the tension leaving. Its a strange sensation that travels up to your head which feels sort of tingling. It literally feels like the pressure you have in your head ( that you didn't even know was there) is being lifted. You are left with a feeling of deep relaxation and well being. I found myself being less uptight and my sense of humour returned. All this after the first use. Another strange side effect of using this is that my vocabulary seems to have improved and I'm no longer struggling to find the right words. ( maybe it helps with memory??) I saw this Thera Cane recommended on a YouTube video regarding massaging trigger points to relieve chronic pain. I was very impressed by the huge majority of positive reviews on Amazon - especially the ones where people say it cured long term pain - it sounded too good to be true - but something I had to try! I have used it on several occasions now - sometimes just to massage tight muscles - upper back, lower back, shoulder and neck - it is quite easy to use once you get used to it; it is very light and easy to manoeuvre to find the 'trigger points'. A couple of weeks ago I woke up with a really painful shoulder and neck - the type which usually takes at least a few days to heal. I decided to give the Theracane a try - it didn't take long to find the trigger point, I could actually feel it easing the muscle. I didn't think much more about it... until later in the afternoon when I found myself unexpectedly painting my shed (!!) - and my neck and shoulder felt fine! This is when I realized how effective the Thera Cane had been! I actually bought it because I have a damaged coccyx and am unable to sit down... As it is a difficult condition to treat and I do not want to cause any more pain in this area, I have only used the Thera Cane lightly around my spine and lower back. The coccydinia pain, so far, remains the same - but that is probably because my coccyx is dislocated. Hopefully it will help in time to relax the muscles and maybe my coccyx will go back to where it should be! I can hope. Overall though, I definitely highly recommend the Thera Cane!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent tool

I bought this tool along with two books; The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: Your Self-Treatment for Pain Relief and The Frozen Shoulder Workbook: Trigger Point Therapy for Overcoming Pain and Regaining Range of Motion. (both excellent books). It is definitely worth buying them as a package as the books refer to the Thera cane and give example uses of it to help ease your pain and trigger points. The cane is very easy to use and can be held in a combination of positions and angles to reach your back, shoulders and neck in ways that is just not possible with your hands. The pressure it can exert is impressive and it can be quite painful if you are over-eager, so be gentle at first. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the cane and books. However, I've since seen that there is another tool available called the "Body Back Buddy Jr" which is much cheaper than the cane. It wasn't available when I bought my thera-cane. So, take a look at that one too - they probably do a similar job.
