## Questions & Answers

**Q: Description goes on about being a countdown timer. Maybe a silly question, but does it tell the actual time and is there a stopwatch and alarm too?**
A: The timer has various countdown and standard timer features such as stopwatch and tells the time. At the the end of a countdown it can be set to start counting up as well. Mine doesn’t have an alarm but the countdown has quite loud audible beeps at the marker points. For all the features, search the internet for the instructions, they are out there.

**Q: Does it have a backlight for use at night?**
A: I apologize for the delay. unfortunately not!

**Q: what is the width of the watch strap please? 20mm?**
A: The srap on the Optimum Time Big Sailing watch is 30mm wide.

**Q: can I set loop reminders at set times ? how many reminders can I set? is this waterproof IP68?**
A: 30mm

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best sailing watch
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 November 2024*

Definitely THE best sailing watch for racing dinghies/hobies etc.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 February 2016*

You may read a few reviews from one or two miserable people by ignore, this is arguably the world's number one dinghy racing watch and my last one lasted 12 years before I sadly dropped it overboard by mistake. Over half the dinghy racers in my club and nearly two thirds of the sailors in this year's worlds wore this watch. It's brilliant! 😃

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple, superb
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 November 2020*

Superb. Easy to use. Does what it says on the box.
