Review: wonderful workshop stool - Really solid stool, arrived well packed and the fragile stickers were quite amusing. The stool was easy to assemble. Height adjustment is a robust screw thread with a lock nut rather than the typical office chair gas lift. The seat pan is a casting rather than the pressing I remember from tractors so is quite heavy. The foot rest is a bolt on goodie so is optional, I currently haven't fitted it. I must admit I'm quite tempted to see what it looks like in tractor red after a coat of paint. It's ideal for the workshop, I doubt if anything will affect it so damp etc is not an issue. very pleased with it

Height adjustment is a robust screw thread with a lock nut rather than the typical office chair gas lift. The seat pan is a casting rather than the pressing I remember from tractors so is quite heavy. The foot rest is a bolt on goodie so is optional, I currently haven't fitted it. A serious seat for the potting shed. Fairly easy to put together but the individual parts are quite heavy to manoeuvre. The overall seat is therefore quite a weight. Best for a permanent location. It will last forever.
