I bought three of these cameras. All of them are connected to the Synology DiskStation and are set to write with a maximum resolution of 2688 x 1520. Image quality is great and a very wide lens angle is capturing loads of area. (for Synology app users - I had to set “force JPEG” in order to view a live stream, otherwise the app is crashing). Had a problem with one of the cameras due to manufacturing fault (this happens unfortunately). Communications with the seller were very prompt during a troubleshooting process leading to a replacement camera being sent. Most laptops don’t have Poe ports so you’ll need a Poe injector.Once this was linked up I could access the menu and config. I have initially wired it directly to a wifi extender for the network and used an old Netgear 12V power supply to supply the power. I intend to eventually wire it in properly with PoE, once I finalise its position.The picture is excellent in daylight and at night. Night vision is B&W but the resolution is still very good.
