Review: Great speed adjustments - This hand mixer has great speed when using full speed (6) and works perfect for things like meringue It not too fast when it’s on setting 1 (slow speed) for folding ingredients or mixing dry products Obviously if you use it on full speed for something like dry flour or icing sugar, it will go everywhere you just need to be careful about how you mix as some people have complained it’s too powerful, but I haven’t found this to be an issue. The power is needed for getting things like meringue to form peaks quick enough. It comes with three different attachments and they work great too for mixing different consistency mixtures. Again depending on what you are mixing you’ll have a suitable attachment to use. Just need to experiment which works for what. The fan is at the rear side of the mixer instead of front so you don’t have flour being blown as you mix dry ingredients. The fan stops it overheating. If you use towel you can get it to stand in place and whisk while you prepare other things. I’ve enjoyed using this hand mixer almost every day this week and would recommend it.

A: I agree  -  about 1 Kg without any attachments .

**Q: What length are the beaters? Not the shaft but actual beaters**
A: The beaters length is 3 1/4 inches, ( i.e. the cage part at the end of the shaft).

**Q: How long is the electrical lead?**
A: Just measured it and found it to be 4ft. Sorry I still work in feet and inches !

**Q: How noisy is this mixer and will it cream butter and sugar?**
A: This mixer will not only cream butter and sugar but due to the 6 speed settings it will mix in the eggs and flour beautifully. I use mine every other day and find it indispensable. Having the extra dough hooks and whisk attachment is a plus. It is less noisy than others I have had.

This comes in a great package that lets you store it and it worked perfectly. I find the different speeds and the turbo option really good for baking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent hand mixer with only one drawback...

This is pretty much a perfect mixer; very comfortable to hold and the whisks etc. are very well build and they will definitely last long. There are five speed settings plus one turbo button, but the turbo button doesn't seem to do anything if you are already using the mixer on it's fastest speed. My only major complain is the power cord which is for some reason installed to the side of the mixer instead of back of it. In other words when you are using the mixer you need to be careful since the power cord could easily drop to your mixing bowl and get shred by the mixer. There have been few times that this almost happened to me so I'm not super happy about it since that can be quite dangerous. It would have been an ideal situation if the power cord was at the back of the mixer since that way it would always stay out from the mixing bowl. But that is my only complain, otherwise this is an excellent mixer for a great price!
