I'm a side-sleeper and have been seeing articles about how side-sleepers are hurting their back while they sleep. So I investigated the issue and thought I would try this pillow. I have to say, it does work for my back, I no longer wake up with an achy back. However, while the foam is firm, the contoured shape takes getting use to. It's larger than I expected, however, it's light weight. I have tried it with and without using the strap and I find that using the strap does keep it somewhat in place. It's doing it's job for my back, but a small bit uncomfortable for my knees. I think in time when the foam molds to my body a little, it will become more comfortable.
