I'm not a qualified electrician. I ran this underneath a deck and clipped to teh joists to power 240 volt spot lamps. Getting power to the deck I used armoured cable to the first junction box because it is out in the open. If you are fixing to a wall or a structure I think it will be ok as there is no risk of hitting with a spade or splitting if something heavy dropped on it. It is reasonably flexible and the outer coating seem to be weatherproof. Like I say im not a qualified electrician and would recommend getting professional advice if your in any doubt.
