Review: A newly discovered favourite! - This one's definitely a keeper! If you're someone who has a relatively high tolerance for hot chilli, this is a hot and delicious sauce. The scorpion pepper flavour is bold, sharp and envelopes the mouth with a warm and sumptuous buzz. This is a chilli based sauce and you can really savour the flavour of the scorpion peppers at its base. It does pack quite a big initial punch, but does not linger too long and is nowhere near as hot as the extract based "Insanity" sauces, which personally I find too hot to really enjoy as sauces and at most would use as flavourings in tiny doses. Even so, in my opinion, only a little Scorpion Pepper Hot Sauce is required to really jazz up most dishes or sandwiches and it does a great job of it! However, if you tend to find jalapeno peppers on your pizzas a bit of a mouth-burner or struggle with discomfort when eating a hot curry, this is likely gonna be a little high on the heat scale for you, so be warned!

**Q: scorpion peppers was discovered in Trinidad,  are these peppers from Trinidad?**
A: I don't know where Dave's grows their peppers- whether they harvest them from the native land or they have a farm, I am sure they try to produce a good pepper. I just think this sauce wasn't up to their heat standards and it is rather bitter.

**Q: What is the Scoville Heat Units of this sauce? Thank you!**
A: I haven't seen any official figures, but I would put it around 40,000 or so. If you're familiar with Blair's sauces, I would say it's hotter than Original Death but not quite as hot as After Death.

**Q: Is this a 5 ounce bottle?**
A: I do believe so. It enough to last you for a while. I gave one bottle to a friend and he called it his end of retirement - end of life gift. He uses 2 or 3 drops per recipe for 4 to 6 people. My bottle is 6 months old and have gone. "Is the bottle half full or half empty? Neither. It is need of a refill."Enjoy!

**Q: I can put a flame burning match in my mouth, literally. That’s my endurance to spiciness. So how hot is this ??**
A: Burning match is not spicy at all lol if you like that i would suggest just eating the food right after it came out oven without cooling off it will blister your mouth its so "spicy" lol

This isn't like most of Dave's hot sauces, this one actually tastes good, very good. Most of Dave's sauces are made using extract and taste something like (I imagine) battery acid. Not this one, it's hot and absolutely delicious. NO EXTRACT! Dave's Scorpion Sauce is better than Melinda's (which I love) and shows they can make a good sauce when they want to. Also, priced very well.
