Seek advice from a dry cleaners **Q: Would this remove Blood stain from a carpet, stain is 8 weeks old** A: I very much doubt it and I wouldn't like to chance it either. I think you would be better off using a specialist, stain remover such as Vanish but only the one especially formulated for carpets.. But as the stain is old and therefore much more difficult to remove, you may wish to seek professional help from a company like ServiceMaster who can come to your house or possibly supply an appropriate product.
