The keyboard came with creamy switches which sounded okay but I wanted switches that would allow me to type late at night if I needed to without disturbing my husband since my home office is right next to our bedroom. They're quiet. Not the most silent probably but I love the feel of these. They're not super mushy or anything but there is a difference in the feel of the creamy switches and these. If you've ever used a Logi K270 (which I have to use for work) it's kind of like that. This significantly dampens the sound of my typing. I am not at all worried that I'll bother my husband if I stay up late working now. Since I just got them, I have no idea of their longevity however if I do have issues, I'll update my review. All of the switches that I put in worked too, none of them ended up being duds.
