The brush is flexible. However, in our case we were doing it from inside a log burner and the brush was not flexible enough to go through the hole at the top so we had to cobble together a different end instead of the brush. NB - If the rods are screw together only make sure you don't twist the whole thing the wrong way when it's up the chimney or you may leave some behind! **Q: How big is the brush? Are the rods flexible?** A: The brush is 400 mm and can be trimmed with scissors. the rods are flexible to a degree. The joints are not flexible.
