However I did not want to spash out on the expensive coated strings given that I wasn't sure I would like them. These are pretty affordable and having put them on my Taylor GS mini I was pleasently surprised. The sound is balanced and nice. They are easy to tune up and being slightly thinner than what was on there before they are easy to fret. I would happily buy these string again

**Q: Do the strings have ball end?**
A: I commented on both EJ 16 & EJ17 strings. Both have standard 'ball' endings. I would imagine that the 15s would be the same. Personally I wouldn't go as light as this as you would undoubtedly lose tone.

**Q: I am a beginner and have an ibanez concord 647 acoustic guitar but have snapped the low e string. would these be good for me?**
A: The phosphorus strings are quite popular for acoustic guitar they give a warm and full sound. At the same time they are light gauge so they also have a bright sense to them and you won't put any strain to your instrument. The quality is also excellent! I would say they are perfect for the use you want :) Enjoy

A: Dear TangKwanShing, This is an acoustic guitar: go with 12ves top string which provides tone: 14s is madly too much & too heavy for the neck. Different companies strings DO have different tones & last for different lengths of time. I would buy (I always do buy) D'Addario EJ16-3D are the strings I use on STURDY acoustic necked guitars - for more fragile or older necks I use 10s: EJ15-3D. More effective than strings on maximizing the tone of your guitar is to fit a composite bone saddle to the bridge & 2ndarily a composite bone nut.

**Q: I just started learning guitar with a steel string acoustic will these strings be a good replacement for any broken strings?**
A: Callum: These are a Medium Gauge string. It will not be a good idea to use a medium guage string if the set already on the guitar are a Light Gauge. D'addario are an excellent make, so the brand is a good choice. But it is very probable that your guitar has currently got a light gauge set on it. Stick with D'addario light gauge if that is the case. And if you are in doubt, I would be inclined to take the guitar to a good music shop and ask them to change the whole set for you when and if you break a string. They will advise on which gauge to use when they see the guitar. Good luck, and do remember your strings are very important. Paul.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good bang for your buck

I've been using D'Addario strings for my classical guitar for quite a while now, and they were pretty decent as well, so when it was time to replace the strings for my acoustic I decided to buy them to try as well. General review: Product arrived 1 day after purchase(bless Amazon Prime) Restringed them on my acoustic guitar them straight away once they arrived. I use a Crafter D6 Acoustic Guitar btw. The strings were bright and shiny out of the pack, no signs of rust which was good. The sound quality of the bass was a bit brighter than I was accustomed which I kinda liked and strumming on it felt pretty good as well. Well so far, I've been using them for a week and there has been no signs of wear on the strings and no rust which is good, and they still sound good, cz I bought cheap strings some time ago and they rusted like after a week or so. Pros: Cheaper than most sellers on amazon, good string quality(I mean who am I kidding, D'Addario has been around for like forever) Cons: Not really a con but if you're not a fan of bright string I suggest not getting this model. Conclusion: Well these are really good guitar strings for their price, suitable for all levels of guitar players. Well if you are looking for something with a more higher quality, I suggest looking at Elixir strings(those strings aint cheap tho).
