It is still inclined to slide to the right, stabilising at a slightly drunken angle but it hasn't fallen off and I can see my iPhone screen quite well so it's a good purchase. I think the problem is with the BMW air vent. I have no difficulties with the iPhone holder I bought for my Honda Jazz.
