Although I think even they are quite hard for the birds to get out so peanuts definitely wouldn't fit . I hung mine out on the tree in my garden about a week - 10 days ago , but didn't fill it straight away. I went to put some suet pellets in just now and the entire thing fell apart as soon as I touched it. I was being very gentle as I didn't want to spill the pellets but sod that the entire thing fell apart in my hands. This would have been made much worse if I had gotten round to giving the children theirs as they would be disappointed and I'd have to take the feeder back to return. Honestly this is so bad I can't even imagine them selling in pound land. Not fit for purpose was an understatement.
