Not quite "real feel" as claimed but not what I'd look for in a practice pad anyway. My only gripe with the product is the MDF used in the main body. It has no real impact on the usage but it *wood* have been nice (see what I did there) to have a real wood base like other competitor pads have. All in all a great pad and I've always seconded the opinion that a great practice pad is whatever Practice pad gets you practicing as the main thing is the practice itself!
