For this kind of use, I would reccommend Pierre Grimal's 'Dictionary of Classical Mythology'. The book also contains a map of the Greek world and map showing sites mentioned in the text, helping you visualize and understand the relative geographies of the myths. I really like this book, and after buying my own copy bought one for a friend. Robert Graves knowledge of Greek Mythology is very extensive. However, if you are looking for an easy read or some sort of introduction to Greek Mythology this is not the book for you. Unless you are a serious student of the subject it is extremely difficult to keep up with all the names and the endless relationships that seemed to have occurred. Even if you just read the myths and not the large amount of footnotes written by Robert Graves it is still fairly difficult to follow in places.
