Thanks!** A: There is a fix: You can buy barbell adapter sleeves on amazon. This is product and more accessories are for 2" or olympic barbells. To size for an adapter measure from the collar (the thing that stops plates from sliding to the middle) to the end of the barbell. The collar hold the adapter in place, usually with hex bolt. BEWARE! some adapters are sold single as opposed to pairs (for accessory attachements) so if you plan on also using it for bumper plates, you need to clarify with seller. I used this at my friend's home today with an adapter and just ordered one myself. **Q: Why is it so expensive? It s just a single piece of plastic with no moving parts.** A: Ours broke after about a month of use. **Q: What is the density of this product? Listing notes that it's high-density, however it seems a bit soft and light.** A: the density is more than sufficient for its intended purposes. I use it for landmine presses and it's perfect.
