To fill this up you can use the plastic pipe fitted onto your tap or just pour a bowl of water in (basket needs to be out for washing mode) add your detergent and washing, turn the left had knob to wash and set the timer, 15 mins, with the right knob and let it do its bit. Remember, the timer will still be working even if you have forgot to switch the electric on but the washer won't be moving. You could probably leave this stood on the worktop while in washing mode but definitely not in spin mode. When the wash cycle has finished you need to unhook the pipe from the side of washer and let the water drain away, so if it is stood on the floor you will need to lift it onto the side of the sink, so don't overfill with water as it will get a bit heavy! You then need to refill with water to rinse your washing, repeat wash cycle and empty again. After this, if you want to spin your washing you will need to put your wet washing into the basket and click it back into the washer. At this point I usually squeeze excess water off before putting them into the basket with the plastic lid on. You will now have to change the left had knob onto spin mode and set timer again - this is when your washer will start dancing all over the kitchen. You will probably need to empty the water and spin again to get best results, although if you want them spun well you will need to work at it, mine usually come out about the same as being hand wrung. It works for me and it is better than hand washing but, it is not a put your washing in and come back a hour later type of washer and I'm still trying to figure out how the wire and plug wraps back away without it having a baggy lead! ### ⭐ Dangerous *by A***Y on 14 July 2021* I bought this for my flat with having no space for a regular sized washer, it sits nicely on the worktop, I followed all the instructions, the wash went well, drained quickly and easily into the sink via a drop down tube, refilled for rinse, that went ok, drained OK, put the small rubber basket in with a few small items for the spin, set to 3 mins on timer and it started to spin dry, I went into the living room and had to quickly return as I could smell smoke, which was coming from the machine, it had quickly filled the kitchen with smoke, I switched off immediately and unplugged it, after the smoke had cleared I had a look at the machine but couldn't see how it could have had any problems, it just doesn't seem to have the power for a spin dry, I have sent it back and got a refund, I wouldn't recommend this as it is dangerous and could have had been life threatening and set the flat on fire, avoid at all costs!
