It will be hard for many people to cock, especially when it is brand new. As a dad with younger kids I am actually comforted by this as my boys can't load it without my help. Finding a target that stops the bolt without destroying it was tricky, but I found that a DIY rag bag target using demo bags frome Home Depot worked perfect.
