Seems sturdy enough although IMO there is a little too much flex in the whistle support and the spring’s strength does tend to bend it slightly so the whistle is not perfectly aligned or flush with the spout. Heats up pretty quick (even on a ceramic oven hob). Compact and ideal for those not wanting to heat up a lot of unnecessary water.
