## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can a frog eat these?**
A: I've some of the fully aquatic frogs and they munch quite happily on the tablets.

**Q: Would thes be suitable for feeding shrimps? I previously bought pleco tablets for "herbivorous bottom-feeding fish", but I'm unsure what to get.**
A: We would suggest buying the Tetra Crusta for your shrimps...

**Q: what food do i give a plex**
A: The tetra tabimin is OK. But they love blood worm pellets and fresh cucumber, obviously just a little at a time of that and it needs to be weighed down so it sinks.

**Q: Are they good for piaranha**
A: This tablet food sinks quickly to the bottom so is more suitable for catfish and other bottom feeding fish.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super to crush for all sizes of fish!
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 July 2026*

Find these great to crush and all the fish in my tank love them, the loaches run off with the bigger nuggets and the rasboras like the teeny bits. I also used them crushed when I had a lot of baby fish, it was a good method to create lots of food in different sizes! Just in case you don't automatically see how to do it, I flip the lid and then use a pestle to crush the tab, then tip the lid into the tank :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super tablets fish love them.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 March 2026*

Purchased the 1040 tablets tub size, shrimp flavour, excellent price, super quality and the large tub was full to the top.My fish love this food and my 6” clown loach and placo can’t get enough of these, best of all no waste and water stays clean. This is my second purchase and will be back eventually when needed.
