A great learning tool. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Interesting and readable stories *by on Reviewed in the United States August 31, 2019* I've also read Volume 1 in this series, as well as several other "Italian short stories for beginners" anthologies available here on Amazon, and the Olly Richards books are among the best available. The main reason is that the stories are actually stories, and not just (boring) descriptions of everyday life like some other Italian readers. I actually liked this collection a little more than Volume 1 because I thought the stories were a bit better crafted and more interesting than in the first book.One issue I have with the book is the vocabulary lists at the end of each chapter. The lists are valuable, and they include not just words, but phrases. The issue is that sometimes it's hard to tell if the phrase is just a literal translation of the text to aid comprehension, or if it is an idiomatic phrase that one should pay special attention to because it's used in everyday Italian. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun *by on Reviewed in the United States January 11, 2022* It was very fun to read.
