Part of Makita’s extensive 18V LXT system, it ensures compatibility and reliability for all your cordless tool needs. ## Description The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Reciprocating Saw (tool only) combines cutting speed with convenience features for faster, more efficient cutting. It’s powered by the industry’s fastest charging 18V lithium-ion batteries (sold separately), allowing users to remain in one battery platform and use the same fast-charging 18V batteries on the XRJ04Z as they use across the Makita 18V LXT® cordless tool line-up. The XRJ04Z is equipped with efficiency features for faster cutting. The long 1-1/4” stroke length increases cutting efficiency, and the refined crank mechanism design minimizes blade deflection and reduces vibration. Convenience features include a large two-finger variable speed trigger, electric brake, and “tool-less” blade change for faster blade installation and removal. Review: 作業に問題なし - 今までのが壊れたので買い替えです。 何ら問題なく作業できました。 値段も手頃で助かりました Review: Cuts Like Butter, No Complaints - This saw is an excellent CHOICE for anyone looking for a reliable and powerful CORDLESS reciprocating saw. It's got plenty of power behind it - i can easily cut through some thick branches with ease (like those pesky ones that just won't fit in the compost without being chopped up). The variable speed trigger lets you control the cutting speed, which is great for different types of material and tasks. One thing I really like about this saw is how compact it is. It's easy to hold and maneuver around branches or whatever else you need to cut (i once used it to cut through a metal pole too - worked like a charm). The tool-less blade change system is also a nice touch, making it quick and easy to swap out blades when needed. Overall, I'm very happy with this saw and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality cordless reciprocating saw (plus it matches my other Makita tools, so that's always a bonus). ## Features - Makita-built variable speed motor delivers 0-2,800 strokes per minute and a 1-1/4" stroke length for faster cutting - "Tool-less" blade change system allows for faster blade installation and removal for increased productivity - Variable speed trigger for added convenience - Compact and ergonomic design at only 19-1/8" long - Weighs only 8.3 lbs. with battery (battery not included) for reduced operator fatigue ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01IU92ITS | | Best Sellers Rank | #156,300 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #472 in Power Saws | | Blade Length | 0.01 Inches | | Blade Material | High Speed Steel | | Blade Shape | Rectangular | | Blade material | High Speed Steel | | Brand | Makita | | Brand Name | Makita | | Color | Teal /Black | | Colour | Teal /Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,777 Reviews | | Cutting Angle | 45 Degrees | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00088381806831, 00853769007007 | | Handle Material | Rubber | | Included Components | Recipro Saw Blade, Tool Only (battery and charger not included) | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 52.1L x 11.9W x 21.9H centimeters | | Item Type Name | Makita XRJ04Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless Recipro Saw, Tool Only | | Item Weight | 3.63 kg | | Manufacturer | Makita | | Manufacturer Part Number | XRJ04Z | | Model Number | XRJ04Z | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 18 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Brake | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Special features | Brake | | Specification Met | (unset), certified frustration-free | | Surface Recommendation | Wood | | Surface recommendation | Wood | | UPC | 088381806831 853769007007 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 18 Volts | | Warranty Type | Manufacturer's Warranty | | Wattage | 72 watts | ## Product Details - **Blade material:** High Speed Steel - **Brand:** Makita - **Colour:** Black, Blue - **Power source:** Battery Powered - **Surface recommendation:** Wood ## Images ![Makita XRJ04Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Recipro Saw, Tool Only, 72 W, 18 V, Teal/Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41OZr1QRAnL.jpg) ![Makita XRJ04Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Recipro Saw, Tool Only, 72 W, 18 V, Teal/Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/519THsHcGdL.jpg) ![Makita XRJ04Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Recipro Saw, Tool Only, 72 W, 18 V, Teal/Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61YVt-GHFpL.jpg) ![Makita XRJ04Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Recipro Saw, Tool Only, 72 W, 18 V, Teal/Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51OIWgfV+SL.jpg) ![Makita XRJ04Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Recipro Saw, Tool Only, 72 W, 18 V, Teal/Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61sS-6wrOLL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it work in the rain, on a train, with a fox in a box?** A: Yes but it does not like green eggs and ham **Q: What is difference between xrj03z and xrj04z reciprocating saws ?** A: xrj03z weighs7.9lbs with 11/8 inch stroke, the xrj04 weighs 8.3lbs with 11/4 inch stroke **Q: Is there a case available for this saw?** A: I just bought a tool bag to carry it in **Q: Dose it come with a battery** A: I asked my Son today as I bought it for him for his Birthday back in May.
