It’s painfully obvious the hinge is now made of cheap plastic, the hinge itself is so stiff it’s destined to fail. Very sadden this company choose to cheapen what was superb in protection with a nice keyboard. I retuned the day it arrived and will search for another protective IPAD cover. Greed ruins another fine product.

**Q: Will this fit on an 8th generation ?**
A: Just bought the iPad 10.2" 128GB at Costco today. They didn't have a keyboard that fit, so I went to Best Buy and picked up the Zagg Rugged Book. It fits like a glove. I was happily surprised to get a  heavy-duty tablet sleeve (think Otterbox) and a cool keyboard.

**Q: Does this fit the iPad 10.2" 9th Gen (2021)?**
A: yes

**Q: Does this case have a  iPencil holder?**
A: This does have a holder for the Apple Pencil which is handy. Though the holder is secure you can hear the pencil rattling from time to time.

**Q: Will it fit my older ipad 2?**
A: No, doesnt work with that one.

Was skeptical at first with quite a few reviews saying the keyboard doesn’t last, but decided to try it anyway. So far so good, it is the most durable case i could find for the iPad Pro, with a keyboard. Time will tell how on how long it lasts. The magnet holds the pied very strong and sable, no issues with accidental release. Backlit keyboard works well and connects quickly with no issues. Wouldn’t mind a little brighter for the brightest setting for the key board. Other then that its a quality case and keyboard
