While I loved my pre-2005 Braun foil shaver, which was dry only and had separate foil and cutter, I absolutely hated my experience with the modern Braun wet/dry shavers that use a cassette that combines the foil and cutter. P&G adapted the disposable Gillette razor model to Braun and ruined the product in the process.Out of sheer frustration with Braun, I sought out options for an alternative and landed on the Wahl Vanish.
