The hasp of the lock has shoulders to prevent it being cut with bolt cutters.( nice little touch). Links look strong (10mm - 1cm thick) & made from hardened steel. Even the joins of links look tight. Overall, its a good enough chain & lock set thats gonna be a good deterrent & if used correctly, will help prevent loss of your pride & joy. Just remember, NOTHING will stop a really determined scallywag from nickin' your bike except locking your bike up within sight of cctv or lots of people, ( or both!).

A: Difficult to answer, but this chain is solid as a rock, but nothing is inpossible!!

**Q: Is this gold standard**
A: Dont know if it gold standard but my motorbike hasn't moved since i put it on...

**Q: can you advise the width of the chain ring of the 8mm and the 10 mm chains ? I will need the chain to get in through a hole in the doordoor**
A: The chains are 35 mm diameter if you allow a few mm for the plastic sleeve but no more than 40 mm with the plastic sleeve

**Q: How heavy is it**
A: the chain is really heavy and fits the job as we had expected ....

Seller shipped the item quickly. Came with 5 keys & the security of those keys/Lock seems to be pretty good too. The hasp of the lock has shoulders to prevent it being cut with bolt cutters.( nice little touch). Links look strong (10mm - 1cm thick) & made from hardened steel. Even the joins of links look tight. Overall, its a good enough chain & lock set thats gonna be a good deterrent & if used correctly, will help prevent loss of your pride & joy.
