Review: Brilliant bit of kit - Took this imax out at the weekend, very light so easy to set up. I had been looking at this shelter for a while. Best buy ever, really. Took to chesil beach at the weekend, sets up in 2 mins with ease. Material nice and thick. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a must have for the beach angler. I'd give ten stars if I could. I did think I may have problems getting it back in the bag but no, rolled up with ease and slid in. "That's what she said" 🤣🤣. This will come with me every putting. One possible draw back, think it may get a bit hot in the summer.

**Q: Can the imax beach shelter be tied down with gide ropes**
A: It comes with a bag of pegs
It also has a skirt that folds into or out of the shelter which allows shingle, pebbles etc to hold it in place.
It’s a great design which has held it solid in 40mph winds

This negates the need for guide ropes.

A: Hi, definitely not. This tent can comfortably fit one person.

Not as tall or wide as the description suggest's, two people could in theory sit side by side but you'd have no elbow room and risk being in contact with the material which would make it leek. On the plus side it is real quick and easy to put up and down, plus the carry bag is strong and snug.
