The standard ones are either to small and fiddly or break over time. This is a great work around. Bought Feb 2016 and use by date is showing as March 2017, don't know if that is a deffinite use by, but would sugest not buying more than you need with maybe one or two packets as a reserve. The only drawback is it only useable for 12 months. It's therefore really important, if you're not going to use it immediately, to make sure the pack you purchase is new stock with a 12 month life.Unfortunately, this particular seller was selling Sugru with a 6 month sell by date. It does have a bit of a chemical smell when you use it and when it’s hardens.I really recommend it but I suggest that you have more than one cord ready when you open the non-resealable pouch the products come in. The “portion” was too much for just one of my cords so I think I wasted some of it. But that just means that you can make a three pack last longer.
