It is a great way to release energy for them when they cant crawl or walk **Q: If we already have a hook in a ceiling beam is there anyway this can attach to that, or does it have to be a doorway?** A: If you had a chain that you could hang from the hook then you could do it, as the bottom part of the bouncer hooks onto the chain. The chain that comes with the bouncer does not appear to be removable from the the doorway grips.
