Every now and then I'll try something different out of curiosity, but I almost always end up coming back to this one. The biggest advantage for me is the brush. I find the fine bristles much easier to control than the thicker felt-tip style applicators that a lot of liquid eyeliners come with. It makes it much easier to get close to the lash line and gives me enough precision to build up the line gradually rather than trying to get it right in one go. The formula itself has always been reliable. It's a nice, deep black that doesn't look washed out once it dries, and I've found that it stays in place surprisingly well throughout the day. My eyelids tend to get quite oily, which means a lot of eyeliners eventually smudge or transfer, but this one has consistently held up much better than most I've tried. It does need a few moments to dry after you've applied it, but that's never really bothered me given how well it lasts afterwards. Overall, it's just one of those products that quietly does exactly what I want it to do.
