I use my trimmer daily, multiple times and the first blade lasted about 3-4 months, so they are durable and long lasting, A light or hobby user will get months and months out of one of these blades. They are very easy to change, simply slide it to the end of the cutter pull it lightly to detach it from the cutter and then push the new blade in, in a similar place to where you removed the old one from. I would definitely recommend these blades to anyone needing replacements, they may be more expensive than cheaper alternatives but you get what you pay for and these blades really are excellent. There are some reviews with pictures on here that show that exact trimmer, and they indicate that these blades are the correct ones. **Q: Will these blades work with a Carl A4 cutter?** A: I looked up Carl trimmers and most of them are rotary so that would not work and the couple slide ones I saw had a much bigger sliding piece. This fits into groves on the top of the Fiskars cutter guide.
