I fell in love with it instantly, but I just couldn't justify paying the price. I thought it was way too much for something I was getting mostly for decoration. So I thought that I would find something that was close that I could still enjoy while not pay quite so much. No such luck. I looked at literally hunderds of other candles including courting candles which have a similar style, but despite all of my serching nothing else compared to the "Rat de Cave". I finally decided I had wanted the candle long enough and had satisfied myself that there wasn't anything else that was close enough for me to be happy with that I went ahead and ordered it. I was so excited when it arrived and it is absolutely wonderful. The craftsmenship and durability of the piece are well beyond my expectations, making it completely worth the cost in my opinion.
