Oregon Jet-Fit 552697 30 CC Universal Easy-Load Trimmer Head for Bent Shaft with Red Round Line

The instructions are just woeful, blurred, photocopied rubbish. You push the line in simple enough, push to far and it shoots out the end, push in too little and ... it just gets stuck. Permanently. I was using the "frequently brought together" (possible lie) OREGON 110985E Nylium Star Strimmer Line, 2.4 mm and that may have been the problem. But is was not made 100% clear that you can only use 2.4mm round red line. Very disappointed.

Well it's simple to load the strimmer head with line but it falls out within minutes . I shall be using this as a back up in case my main one fails .Update: push through the strimmer line then tie a knot , helps longevity.The strimmer head is two shells held together but after use they start to separate. AVOID .

Fitted my Mountfield trimmer OK (didn't need any of the fixings supplied) but instructions not very clear

I needed a better strimmer head for my Stihl bent-shaft machine and this is just the job. Well made and easy to use - much better than the tap-and-go efforts that never work properly. Recommended.

Easy to fit and replace rather fiddly 'auto' feed system.
