I tried gluing the seam as there were no cracks in the tank but it did not work well. I was happy to find that parts were available for the Bissell scruber and I'd not need to spend $250+ to replace it. While 15 years a good run, I imagine the rest of the machine is in at least fairly good shape considering it only gets used two or three times per year. Transferring everything for the new Tank was very easy, everything fit and worked perfectly. I gave the carpet scrubber a good thorough cleaning, it might need new brushes at some point (also available) but I figure I am good now for at least another 5 years.
