Dishwasher safe. Our sealed edge design prevents food from getting trapped - All materials are FDA tested and approved for safety and quality What makes our strainer strong and reliable? To ensure handling and safety we have added comfortable, non-slip, heat resistant handles. We have made finer meshes to sift smaller foods including almond milk, yogurt, smoothies, soups, quinoa, and much more. We have sealed the steel edges to prevent food from getting stuck between the edges and mesh. Other colanders fold easily, but not the LiveFresh strainers. LiveFresh steel strainers are premium quality and built to last. 100% SATISFACTION OR MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. I use it for rinsing quinoa, and it does fine. **Q: would this be good for straining coffee grounds when cleaning a french press?** A: It depends on how fine your coffee is ground. Ground coffee ranges in size from 5 microns to 400 microns. The opening size of the strainer needs to be smaller than the particle size you are trying to filter out. 5 microns is super small and requires and incredibly small mesh size (about 2500 openings per inch, 400 microns is much larger and about 40 mesh which I suspect is the size of this strainer). Think about the paper filters used in drip coffee makers and you will see the size required to keep the grounds out of your cup. So far I haven't seen the strainer opening size or micron rating listed. 100 microns is 0.00394 inches **Q: Is the msh fine enough for straining ghee?** A: Yes. Very fine mesh for anything. Does a great job. **Q: Is this made in the US or China?** A: The strainers are made in China. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/49193175-livefresh-premium-fine-mesh-stainless-steel-strainer-with-non-slip](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/49193175-livefresh-premium-fine-mesh-stainless-steel-strainer-with-non-slip) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
