He's always in the car with me and loves to go for car rides. I have a car seat protector in my car, but it is really flimsy. I decided to try a heavier duty one. This one is perfect for me. I like how the sides by the door zip up. This is a feature that I had not seen before and I really like it. It's easy to zip up and unzip. You can choose to keep both sides up or keep one side down. I have a picture of both sides up which is nice for long trips. I like to keep one side down for the most part because my dog can reach his water bowl on the other side. If you need to sit in the backseat, it is really easy to to take it down or you can leave it up and put the seat belts through the designed slots. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 2 of the strap fasteners broke almost immediately on my first outing. I was careful with them too, its just that the cheap plastic they were made of was brittle.
