Nice, heavy mil plastic, but what I like the most is the reverse pressure valve, which holds the vacuum until you get the cap on. Also the spacer below the valve which allows you to continue to draw vacuum even up against the blanket (doesn't work so well up against the plastic, though). I bought these for some bulky quilts and blankets that had been annoying me for some time, and this is the perfect storage solution. Smashes them down to a fraction of the size.Only downsides are: I wish there was a long, thin version just for blankets. The jumbo does work, but there's excess plastic leftover which has to be dealt with. Another thing is the instructions. Obviously not written by someone whose first language is English, plus, seems to apply to some other version of the bag enclosed.While easy enough to figure out without instructions, the first time takes some fumbling around on how to utilize the zipper closer. Looks like a ziploc, but the closer is detachable.
