With the type of fuel filter it has, your not likely to get any nasty particles in your fuel tank. The down side is, this funnel wastes fuel, due to the filter not being mounted in the base of the funnels catchment area, which means the funnel never empties. This is likely designed to catch water or heavy debris. So this may not be a problem if your fuel is cheap, or very dirty, or you dont mind chucking the remainder, or you dont care a few drips drop, on the way back to the can to tip this back. But I do mind, and I would have thought, a good filter would filter out water from fuel. Add to this, I consider this is an expensive funnel to purchase. Blow me it actually works and separates the water from the petrol as it passes through. Saves me dumping stored fuel or having to put watery fuel in any of my machines.
