I received a defective item and he helped me through the return/replacement process and was very comprehensive. This is a great machine with a sleek, modern design that doesn't look as bulky as the regular ROG laptops - which for me is perfect because I don't like the bulky look. I was attracted by the specs of this machine - Intel i7-7700HQ, Nvidia GTX 1050, IPS display...etc. Overall this laptop looks good, BUT i was disappointed of fan noise form the first moments. I have another Asus laptop, i've bought it 3 years a go for around 400 ponds and it's quiet like a mouse. This Rog Strix is noisy even with some simple tasks like surfing internet or unzipping files. Even in idle mode fan noise is disturbing and unacceptable for a laptop with this price tag in 2017.
