**Q: how does the lock for the spout work**
A: It twists round. It was quite stiff when I first got it.  I use it for home made soup and works well

**Q: Does the jug leak if stored on its side in the fridge? Looking to buy two, but can only fit one in the fridge door.**
A: From experience I can say that it does. The seal between the lid and the body is - as you would expect with a Sistema item - totally sealed. The closable spout thing is another matter. That cannot be fully locked off. It closes enough to prevent a spill if the jug was knocked over with it shut, but left laying on its side it does slowly leak.

**Q: Does the jug come in a box**
A: It’s doesn’t come in retail packaging. However we send it in the box.

**Q: Does the jug measure wider at the top than the bottom? I need a jug a max of 10cm deep across the bottom for it to fit into my fridge door.**
A: Hello. The jug doesn’t measure wider at the top than the bottom. I’ve got an indesit tall free standing fridge freezer and it fits in my door.
