Review: An amazing tent with great reviews - I spent ages looking for the right bike packing tent. After seeing many positive reviews on YouTube I decided on the Cloud Up 2. Unfortunately, the prices has been unwavering for a year, but it dropped on desertcart Prime Day so I had to buy it. It's only had one outing in the garden, but it's impressive for what people call a budget tent. I got the Forest Green in 20D Nylon. It super lightweight and the poles and pegs are good quality geared towards keeping your pack lightweight. I was surprised at how thin the material is. It's strong, but the groundsheet feels vulnerable. Naturehike includes a footprint as standard, which makes a lot of sense. The pegs are well made, but the number of them assumes you double up guy ropes on the sides and the back. Three additional pegs would have been ideal for more security. It's easy to set up and take down. I set it up in 15mins first time without following any instructions and I'm sure I could do it quicker. I took it down in 5mins, which was even more impressive. It's billed as 2-man, but not two at my size. It's comfortable for one plus equipment. The only issue I have is the small door, but then I bought it knowing that would be a limitation. I have a folding Brompton bike that goes in the tent with me. Getting it in isn't graceful, but there's plenty of space inside for us both. Overall, I can see why it gets such positive reviews and I'm looking forward to getting out there.
Review: Stunning value for money - Great lightweight tent. Very roomy for the weight. Easy to pitch. Surprisingly well made. I've used it in 30mph winds and storms. No issues. Update July 2017 I've been using this tent for a year now. It's been out in all weathers without any issues. It can get a little flappy in the wind if I don't get a taut pitch. I was worried about the joint for the poles but it has been fine. I don't use the footprint to save a little weight. I did replace the pegs to give me more confidence in hard ground. There are no marks on the fabric. I always use it solo and it is very spacious for the weight. Definitely one of my better buys.

**Q: Looks like a great tent for the money. Anyone tried it in severe winds yet? I'm looking for a moors tent and it can get pretty severe out there.**
A: On its first nights use I encountered winds of 35-40mph and it was okay and that was pitched in a non optimum face into the wind setup. The only issue was the flysheet tapes did loosen leading to a lot of flapping, but this appears to be an issue with many ultralight tents that use very thin webbing tape for the straps. I've solved it by using those plastic sandwich bags clips to lock off the webbing. Hope that helps.

This is an excellent product, particularly considering its price. I've had it for nearly two years and used it extensively (well over 100 nights) over a variety of terrain (like plus 40-degree temperatures and below 0, as well as beaches and rocky ground). The rainfly has held up to very heavy thunderstorms and fairly strong winds too. It does get more condensation that tents I've previously used but the moisture has never leaked inside and the fabric dries quickly. The size is perfect, plenty of space for one person plus a big backpack (I haven't tested it with two people) and enough headspace to sit up. The entrance is tall enough to cook under on a small stove if the weather is bad too. It weighs about 1.5kg altogether and packs up small so it's great for hiking and bicycle touring. It's very quick to pitch and pack once you know how. Update: After the first year, of use, the groundsheet began to get damp inside, even from just from morning due and while using the footprint. That said I would still purchase this tent again, it's a great product for the price.
