Review: Worth every penny - I don't often leave reviews on desertcart, but felt compelled to write about this product, as it has proven to be an absolute game changer for us. My wife and I had struggled and failed to move a 120kg range cooker from its temporary location in the garage into the kitchen. It was so heavy that I struggled to move it more than an inch at a time when pushing against it with all my weight. I'd previously seen these straps advertised but thought they were a bit of gimmick. In my desperation though, I ordered them on the basis that if all else failed, I would need to pay someone to move said cooker for me. The straps arrived next day and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials used, the sturdiness of the product, and the clarity of the instructions. Once we had figured out how to put on the harnesses and attach the sling to them and underneath the cooker, we attempted a trial lift of the cooker. I should point out that these straps do not miraculously make a very heavy object suddenly feel as light as a feather, but for the first time ever we were both able to lift the cooker more than an inch off the ground without nearly injuring ourselves. We took a few tentative steps and found that by stopping regularly to check our position and to get our breath back, we were able to cover several yards in a matter of just a couple of minutes. Before we knew it, the cooker was in the kitchen, and we had successfully moved it without dropping it or damaging anything (including ourselves!). I am absolutely delighted with this purchase. It might be the kind of thing that we only use once or twice in a lifetime, but it turned an impossible job into something that was all of a sudden manageable and achievable. Thank you Ready Lifter for a great product! Review: Fiddly but worth it - We moved recently and had some heavy bits of furniture as well as the usual fridge and washer. These straps were a life saver. Lifting was easy and took the strain off your back. They are not completely perfect as can be a bit fiddly to get on and only has a single strap to lift your item, however it's easier enough to stabilise and is sturdy so I'd rather have that than lift without. Great bit of kit and well worth the money. ## Features - KEEP ARMS/ HANDS FREE-The Ready Lifter recognized the need for your arms to be unconstrained. The need for stabilization, opening doors, and overall balance is all attained. - SAFELY LIFT AND MOVE - Ergonomically designed to promote and facilitate proper lifting techniques. - REDUCE BACK PAIN - Back pain and strain is avoided by ensuring proper lifting techniques and utilizing the body's strongest muscles, the legs and torso. - INCREDIBLE VERSATILITY - Due to the seemingly unlimited adjustability of the strap through the buckle, users can move and lift heavy, bulky furniture easier than ever. - Can lift up to 600 lbs/ 270 kgs - Note: 3.65 m is the length of the strap which helps to lift the product and not the harness ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00C66KT6Q | | Best Sellers Rank | 29,654 in Business, Industry & Science ( See Top 100 in Business, Industry & Science ) 93 in Material Handling Straps | | Brand | Nielsen Products | | Brand Name | Nielsen Products | | Colour | Black, Gold, Red | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Trailer, Truck, Van | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 440 Reviews | | Fastener Type | Buckle | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00895678000304 | | Hardware Material | Stainless Steel | | Included Components | 2 Harnesses, 1 Lifting Strap 3 inch x 12 ft | | Item Dimensions L x W | 3.66L x 0.08W metres | | Item Type Name | Light Duty Lifting Straps Up To 270kg | | Item Weight | 0.59 Kilograms | | Load Capacity | 270 kg | | Load capacity | 270 kg | | Manufacturer | Ready Lifter | | Manufacturer Part Number | NP8500 | | Material | Polypropylene | | Material Type | Polypropylene | | Model Number | NP8500 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 3 | | Size | 3.65m x 3 inches | | Tensile Strength | 600 Pounds | | UPC | 895678000304 784497004115 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Vehicle service type | Trailer, Truck, Van | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Nielsen Products - **Colour:** Black, Gold, Red - **Material:** Polypropylene - **Size:** 3.65m x 3 inches - **Vehicle service type:** Trailer, Truck, Van ## Images ![Ready Lifter Shoulder Moving Straps for Furniture, Appliances, Heavy or bulky Items. Can I buy a strap for something this large?** A: We don't have one that long, but buy two 100 foot long 2 inch wide cotton straps (sold on Amazon) and then watch YouTube videos about using monster straps to move extra long furniture. **Q: can you move rocks** A: The Shoulder Dolly can help you lift anything you can safely balance on the wide strap, including sofas, mattresses, chairs, dressers, stoves, and dryers. The lifting is with you back, leaving your hands free to help balance the item. Even rocks could be moved if the strap could be secured underneath them, perhaps via a box or tray. **Q: Is this adjustable? Can the middle strap be shortened?** A: Yes you adjust the middle strap on either end of the harness by pulling more through the orange piece. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every penny *by B***N on 7 February 2022* I don't often leave reviews on Amazon, but felt compelled to write about this product, as it has proven to be an absolute game changer for us. I guess it takes some practice. The product is well built, good stitching and material thickness. I think with regular use you would be a pro in no time, the main downside is that you need someone on each side of the item so putting a fridge in to a corner is not possible. We bought these to move a new American fridge weighing 120kg i am medium build, dont "work out" and never been to the gym, my wife is short and slim, regularly works out but for fitness not body building. We moved the fridge easily with these straps, it surprised us both how easy it was. ## Frequently Bought Together - Nielsen Products Ready Lifter 2 person sling, transport sling, lifting sling for objects up to 270 kg, NP8500, 3.65m long - MAIYADUO 2 PACK Adjustable Lifting Moving Straps, Single or Multi-Person Carrying Strap, Multipurpose Moving Straps for Furniture, Boxes, Mattress, Construction Materials, Supports Up to 600 Lbs - Ronlap 6-Inch Steel Tri-Dolly, 3 Wheels Furniture Mover's Dolly with Lifer, Heavy Furniture Moving Rollers Leg Dolly, 200 KG Capacity 4 Pack (orange) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/49259044-ready-lifter-shoulder-moving-straps-for-furniture-appliances-heavy-bulky](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/49259044-ready-lifter-shoulder-moving-straps-for-furniture-appliances-heavy-bulky) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
