The Yale YSM/520/EG1 Professional Office Safe is designed to protect £2,000 in cash and valuables worth of £20,000.The safe has 22 mm electronically motorised locking bolts, reinforced hinges and mounted opening spring and armoured steel anti-drill plates for safe protection. The digital keypad that secures the safe has a resettable 3 to 8-digit user code with an on/off display code and a blue backlight LCD display with low battery warning. A manual override lock with two override keys supplied in case of lockout. Internal (LED) light source and one shelf provided for ease of use and organising.The Yale YSM/520/EG1 Safe has (H x W x D): 52 x 35 x 34 cm externally and weighs 29 kg.Yale is one of the oldest international brands in the world and probably the best-known name in the security industry. Review: great small safe - We purchased this safe mainly to keep expensive jewellery safe, its small but more than enough for our needs, very well made with thick gauge steel, quite heavy to lift but easy to install, i just bolted mine straight into the brick wall with the fixing bolts supplied, very sturdy strong fix with zero chance of removal, also very easy to operate, all in all a great safe from a leading company like Yale which is also certified for higher levels of insurance

**Q: What packaging does it come in? I would have to have this delivered to work and would prefer to not have everyone knowing what i'm doing.**
A: Brought as a gift but arrived in the bright yellow Yale box with large postage label stuck to it despite requesting Amazon packaging. Very disappointed.

**Q: Will a 15" laptop fit into this safe**
A: if the laptop is a standard 260 x 380 then yes. Slightly wider will still fit but you have to put the laptop through the opening at an angle due to the hinge and door surround.

**Q: Does the safe come with a warranty?**
A: yes it comes with 12 months warranty

**Q: Have you changed the delivery packaging? for one that doesn't have a picture of a safe on it so the nosy neighbors do not see what it is ? Thanks**
A: I've just taken delivery of one of these and its in the Yale OEM packaging with large pic of safe and explanation of certificate class. 
I don't think its very professional that Yale supply it without any thought to being discreet.

We purchased this safe mainly to keep expensive jewellery safe, its small but more than enough for our needs, very well made with thick gauge steel, quite heavy to lift but easy to install, i just bolted mine straight into the brick wall with the fixing bolts supplied, very sturdy strong fix with zero chance of removal, also very easy to operate, all in all a great safe from a leading company like Yale which is also certified for higher levels of insurance

Excellent quality. The material thickness of the door is 5mm. I quickly mastered the programming, changing the code several times to make sure that all the buttons worked. The system has bleeps when the buttons are pressed and the instructions say that they can be switched off if you prefer but although the word Silent appears on the display, the sound is still there. No problem as the buzzes serve to confirm that you have entered a number correctly. Batteries were included. I thought that Amazon offered a choice of having it delivered in a plain box but could not find anywhere on the order form to select that option, therefore all the neighbours now know I have a safe. I now keep a small folding umbrella in it (well, it's nice to put something away for a rainy day). One point, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! I didn't and after a few weeks of using the code of my choice, discovered that entering 0000 opened the safe! It is the factory set number and needs to be deleted.
