I bought this on the basis of its many 5* ratings, knowing full well it’s an item being made by one manufacturer and being sold by many different sellers in the uk. Oh well, I thought, I’ll give it a go.I plugged it in when it arrived yesterday, it went bang, there were blue sparks and all the electrics on the first floor of my house went off because it tripped the switch.Good luck if you decide to buy one of these. I’ve printed my returns label already, and will be now be buying something similar from Maplins or somewhere trusted. ### ⭐⭐ Low quality product *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 June 2019* Compact extension outlet for mains and usb devices. Better than the upright versions which have a tendency to topple over.Unfortunately one of the usb sockets stopped working after about two months then at 11 months the whole unit failed.The fuse wasn’t at fault and there were no signs of overheating or a blow out.For less than one year’s use I cannot recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Regreted purchasing this product *by P***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 February 2018* I left my phone for charging and went to bed, during mid night i heard some noise and woke up to investigate what happend and found there was no light on whole floor. Went to check my switch board and found it switch was tripped. Switched the switch back and when i went to check my phone found usb charger on multi-plug wasn’t working any more. I felt I have been cheated and regretted on my purchase and wrote review giving one star but was contacted by seller regarding my unsatisfactory purchase, they provided me replacement and so far it is working good.
