Review: Both great boards - I love the smaller version for portability. The down side is the dice roll off quite often. The larger board is like a full size board. They are both easy to set up and stow away. I was going to keep one and give the other away, but they seem to have different purposes - depending on how much room you have, where you are playing and your frustration tolerance of re-rolling dice because they fall off the small board or land on pieces more than the larger board. I hope the pictures give you a decent comparison. They are both well made and will serve you well.

I love the smaller version for portability. The down side is the dice roll off quite often. The larger board is like a full size board. They are both easy to set up and stow away. We've all seen the small box travel backgammon sets. Those are fine, but I wanted a set that was big enough to enjoy playing and small enough to stow away in a flexible pack. This set fits the bill perfectly. It took a little bit of figuring out how to get it to stay flat, but the trick is to use the magnets and let the metal pieces flex into position. Yes, it DOES work! Seller performed flawlessly, well protected in shipment and delivered on time. Recommended!
