Bought this to replace the old (also replaced the overflow/flush mechanism) but this unit is smaller than original one and fitted perfectly into the cistern and did not foul on anything inside. Took about 20minutes to remove old and replace with this. The instructions were clear enough and some marking and measuring is advised to assist with a very simple setting of this unit's height prior to installing.. takes a few minutes only and worth it. First fill was spot on to what I needed and the unit needed no further adjustment of water fill level... flushed and it filled spot on.. quieter than the old one and no slower. Several weeks later.. it still fills to exactly the right level.
