It seems to stick wonderfully to the sole material used in Doc Martens. My sole had split along almost the entire side of the boot. I filled the gap with this adhesive, clamped it together with zip ties around the boot, wiped away the excess, and let it cure for a day. It bonded really well, so much so that I went at it pretty aggressively with a pick and wasn't able to damage it.
